Raquel Díaz Reguera

Raquel Díaz Reguera (Sevilla, October 1974) 
Designs and writes since a girl. With six years she wins her first painting price and starting from there , studies, tries and experiments. She starts Fine Arts in the Sevilla’s University and adds to her formation a graphic design and illustration course. Nevertheless her professional life takes another route when she abandons the paintbrushes to dedicate herself to her passion for music and songwriting. She settles in Madrid and, associated with great musicians, writes the first letters of her songs . Very soon she signs her first editorial contract with Universal Music Publishing and, at the same time she writes songs for artists as Victor Manuel, Pastora Soler, Noa , Zucchero, Nek,. Alba Molina , Chayanne, Miguel Rios and others ,she records her first disk as a member of the Maldeamores group.
In the design world she works on corporate images of several companies, posters making and expositions catalogs .Without leaving her writing passion she starts writing and illustrating children stories  .
In november 2010 she publishes her first illustrated álbum. “Is there anything more boring than being a rose princess ¿”. To this work  others will follow “ A love so great”(Imaginarium, february 2011)” A kiss before breakfast”(Loguez Ediciones, april 2011)” “The monument to the comet” , “Kisses catalog” (Thule, November 2011) “ A day of happy pases”(Narval, January 2012)” Light blue , bluish” (Thule march 2012. …. . At present she totals twenty seven published titles.
On april 23, 2011 in the program of the Castellon City , she was awarded the XII Illustrated Children Literature Price “Tombatossals” granted by the Castellon City Municipality for her work “ Something to Learn”
